Tratos sells cables to 52 countries worldwide and has distribution centres established across the globe, including one in Chesterfield in the UK and one in Spain, as well as offices situated in Germany and China. In 2008, Tratos Ltd acquired North West Cables Ltd and Modular Wiring Systems Ltd, both UK companies.

Modular Wiring Systems, a subsidiary of Tratos Ltd, has won the order to supply pre fabricated power and lighting distribution systems for multiple floors of The Shard. Soon to be one of London’s most iconic landmarks, The Shard will be the tallest building in Western Europe and will include offices, restaurants, a hotel, exclusive residential apartments and the capital's highest viewing gallery.
